Most riders strive to ride the best they possibly can, others venture into further training in the advanced arena like the ‘Blue Riband’, ‘RoSPA’, ‘IAM’ or the ‘DIAmond’ advanced motorcycle training schemes.  However, some riders look for that little bit extra, the icing on the cake, the cremdalacrem, the real deal.

Those that seek to be one of the guys in the top draw sometimes become Police Class 1 Motorcycle Riders, however many just want that personal achievement and satisfaction, that if they were to sit a police class 1 riders test, that they too could cut the mustard and become one of the elite.

Over the last two years, Team UK Advanced have been working with one of Bedfordshire’s Police Class 1 Motorcycle Instructors to offer a course that would test a rider to the absolute extreme (within the law of our land, that is).  This advanced test is what we call the PC1 Test  (Premier Class 1 Test).

Designed around the current police advanced motorcycle training scheme, the rider is trained to achieve the highest possible standard, and only when the rider is at the required standard to achieve at least 85% in the ride assessment and over 85% in the theoretical examination will the rider be offered a test ride.

The practical and theoretical tests normally take around 3½ hours to complete, and many have declared that after completing both parts of the test they have felt completely drained.  This is often down to sheer determination and concentration, nothing else.

With in a few days of completing the test, you will receive via post a very in-depth ride report, that details both the riders weak and good points, and of course, your PC1 certificate to confirm your achievement.
