Bends Course | |||
Call us now |
Great in theory but we are all different, we all ride different bikes with different performance and we all have different ability. So it follows - what I do will not necessarily be right for you, and vice versa of course, so the course is designed to go at your speed and your instructor will coax you on bit by bit by bit until you are grinning from ear to ear – at the end of the session you should be saying
“IS THAT THE BEST YOU’VE GOT”
REMEMBER is not how quick you go into the bend as history normally shows that Boots, Braces & Bum in the air and head down just increases your heart rate and makes you all sweaty and prone to snap decisions great if you are into Chinese saunas. The smoother you are the more proficient you become the art of bend work and I mean the art is one which is acquired over time and much practice, it not something you find under the Christmas tree one winters night Hence this course is designed to make you think about more than just the BEND that always seems at the last minute to say HA! as it tightened up on you, but to make you smoother on the approach giving you more time to assess, react and adjust if needs be, or to just open the throttle and come out of the bend feeling like you’ve won the Lottery. Day 1 Meet and greet Radio up sort the Helmet cam out and Bobs your uncle, we are off to series ofbends where you show me how it’s done or not as the case maybe. Most of the day is taken up with practical exercises revolving around ………… You guessed it those tight, twisty, thingie me bobs called Bends
Day 2 sees us review what happened on Day 1…….. What went wrong :-( what went right :-) ..where we could improve… if at all, Then we are out again practise practise practise on several different types of Roads with Tight ones, Shallow ones, Blind ones, Sweeping ones, Linked ones. Cost for the days is £95 per person, per day however…….. if we have 2 students this would drop to £80 per person, per day, always better to do the course with a mate so you can bat yourself off each other in makes for a good training environment and the retention of information is better. Motorcycling should be enjoyed the ride should be finished with the idea of lets do it again……..NOT I was lucky there……. few ! Call GT or Robbo to book yourself in for 2 days of brushing up or if you are happy with your Bend assessment / Cornering skills then 2 days of fun.
