2009 - The Best Year Ever for Team UK Advanced | |||
Call us now |
Well it’s been another Busy hectic year for Team UK Advanced, Both Gary and Dave have been so busy in a year that see’s Gordon brown trying the rip the heart out of most small business. Some great news In That Gazza aka GT has been promoted about time, “WELL DONE” Mr T. Team UK Advanced managed to raise £10,000 in aid of Clic Sargent which is a charity dealing with the Horrible ‘C’ word, the terrible which affects Children of all ages and suffering with all types of Cancer this involved a long tour down to Italy to the Italian Moto GP and back. This was achieved with some real top class blokes and we thank each and every one of you guys that managed to make the tour and raised such an incredible amount. Its ranks as one of the real highlights of 2009 for us. We managed to do some work with the Guys from The “RED NOSE” Day, which was co ordinate by Steve Martin, “WELL DONE” Steve on all the hard work. Grant has become bikeless awaiting a new steed, we wait with baited breath to see what will appear. We were also flown out to the south of France by a client in a private jet to carry out bike training in Grimaud / St Tropez, How do we top that! The training throughout the year has been constant. . . Too much at times but in this climate all hands to the pumps, it has proved a real challenge fitting all the days and students in several have achieved some great feedback – Andy Ellams being one passing both his Blue Riband and R.o.S.P.A. with some great feedback. Who will i am sure go onto bigger and better things. Last minute see’s Big Bill Jones aka “Iceman” sell the Adventure and acquire a Chromed Harley Davidson. I can feel a new name being sought for 2010 – surprises ago ago for the french trip in May 2010. . . . Bill you have been warned So all that’s left for us both to say is “Happy New Year” to all our students from last year, and to all our friends who constantly ride-out with us despite the weather and early times, and here’s to another busy year for Team UK Advanced.
